  • Do I have to stop using Xero if I use Merchanter?
    Nope! That’s the whole point. Merchanter is designed to work with Xero — not replace it. You keep Xero for all your financials, while Merchanter takes care of stock, sales, and purchasing.
  • How does the integration with Xero actually work?
    Sales and purchase invoices raised in Merchanter are automatically sent to Xero. When payments are reconciled in Xero, the data flows back into Merchanter — so your team always has up-to-date customer balances, aged debt, and more.
  • Will my accountant still be able to use Xero?
    Yes! Nothing changes in the way your accountant accesses or uses Xero. They continue working as normal, with full access to financial data — and fewer mistakes to tidy up.
  • Can I still create and track orders in Merchanter?
    Absolutely. Merchanter is where your team will raise orders, manage stock, set prices, and handle purchasing. It’s your operational hub — while Xero keeps doing the financial heavy lifting.
  • Is the integration hard to set up?
    No — we’ll guide you through it. The connection is already built, and we’ll help configure it to your setup during onboarding. No technical expertise required.
  • What if I use another financial system besides Xero?
    Merchanter also integrates with other popular finance platforms like QuickBooks and iplicit. If you're using something else, just get in touch — we may already support it.
